We only have 10 very special places available for this two day in-depth journey of discovery into the world of cinematography and the very latest technology involved.

After Bournemouth film school Dan started work at The Mill, VTR, BBC in London and New York and worked for most major networks on a freelance capacity.
Making high end of commercials and features and now currently active as a freelance Director of photography and digital information technician in broadcast TV he shoots across the board, but more within commercials of late and feature films as a Director of photography and technical consultant.
Dan is actively involved in the growing popularity of 3D and his technical understanding has led him to work with highly established DP's who have become stereographers, such as Geoff Boyle who received a British Society of Cinematographers Technical Achievement Award in recent years.

Practical shooting with Red One (opportunity to create situations)
35mm film optics / accessories
Lighting / sensor characteristics / exposure metering
Green / Blue screen shooting
Infra red issues / filters
Crew responsibilities
On set / location one light grading
Post production options / examples
Online / grading
Red vs. other LOG based cameras / workflows
Educating production
Digital workflow for drama and documentary
Red One camera operation
Media / Managing rushes
Pro’s and con’s

DVD’s will be provided at the end of the course.
