Roxy.... Ok Dorkbot is a worldwide movement, basically its an event where people talk about "doing strange things with electricity", there are chapters in Edinburgh(alba) and London, and heaps around the world (info at dorkbot.org).
DorkbotNCL has had 3 events so far, with the last one, last Wednesday where David Hughs talked about how not to design a hardware synth, Bo the clown about making and tinkering and doing, and John O'Shea about process, technological artifacts and what we will be doing with technology in the future.
