''If you're not into the whole brevity thing''

So there's this,

Noam Chomsky talks in this clip about brevity and concision on television - in relation to why he is rarely on mainstream tv in America.

To be (ironically) brief his argument is that if you were to say something unconventional you would need to provide more evidence to back it up and television doesn't allow time for that. It structurally… Continue

Blog a Blog

If anyone would be interested in reading about my adventures with the revolutionaries in that London last week I have started up a new Blog here. I thought it was too long for the dockyard and not exactly relevant.

This is part 1 and I'll comment here when I put the other part up (today or tomorrow).

My plan is to add video I shot whilst there but in the absence of knowing how to do all that right now here is my written… Continue

April Fool

Anyone going down to that London this week for the G20 marches? I noted happily that the mainstream press did actually cover the first march yesterday, though their disappointment that violence didn't erupt was palpable.

I assume everyone will have heard the bigger march is this Wednesday. The police, in entirely constructive and conciliatory language, are 'up for it' so it may well not go down as peacefully as yesterday but the net is of… Continue

It's going quite smoothly! We have a couple of projects on at the moment and a few lined up. Apparently we were in the Evening Gazette not so long ago as well, but we've only seen the press photo, not the actual article!

Ah that's good. My mum works at the Gazette, in the ad department, so I thought she'd have noticed! I'm hoping it was on a day she wasn't working otherwise she could be going blind.
Haha. Damn press twisting our words.

Yeah I think that was mine! It was originally in a Middlesbrough exhibition, I had a drawing in there too that I was pretty proud of, but that never made it to the Baltic unfortunately.

I'm not so sure yet, depends how things go. Are you?

Don't think we'll be pitching any ideas if we do come along. We're pretty busy so we'll have to see how things pan out.
Good luck with the pitching though, seems like a interesting idea!
