- Interaction Designer and Media Artist working at locative mobile, ubiquitous and architectural interactive interfaces. Currently studying for MRes Digital Media @ Culture Lab Newcastle University. Currently works as a Teaching Assistant in the Digital Media dept. and a consultant to the Interactive Space Design module in School of Architecture. Also working as a freelance multi-platform developer and systems designer.
Going to internship with Art+Com in Berlin next year - leading european exhibition and media design company. Would like to work commercially as a consultant or within a similar firm after graduating. Would like to return to academia after a few years of work to continue research.
Personal interests are in social media and the pervasive position of technology in society, politics and news media. Interested in digital music production, post-VJ culture and emergent reformations of performance in club contexts.
