mediabox funding for youth led media / online projects

Mediabox is a national fund which looks to support youth led media projects (radio, film, online etc). They have a deadline coming up - if you have a youth led media project check out the web site and contact douglas@northernmedia.org to get some support

Mediabox want to fund projects that young people have created and that they will lead (learning how to make and do as well as understand and take part in)

i think so yeah - perhaps we can help try and expand that out a bit... do other region's have similar initiatives? maybe some conversations to be had about other region's arts council officers and screen agencies pushing it would be interesting? (i say arts council because that may add a bit of diversity to it - not just the same old faces if you know what i mean?!)
