The Skillset TV Freelance Fund has launched its latest CPD funding programme: the Online Learning Funding Programme for 2009/10. The aim of this funding programme is to further the career development of practitioners working in the UK television industry by making a range of courses available to them in an online learning environment.
The Skillset TV Freelance Fund will be investing up to a total of £50,000 in CPD Online Learning Bursaries for this pilot scheme. Training providers will not receive funding directly, but can bid to Skillset for their online learning courses to be assessed and selected for inclusion on an exclusive list. Individuals will receive bursaries to take an online training course of their choice from this list.
